Buena Vista Ski Area
Buena Vista Ski Area is located eleven miles north of Bemidji on County
Road #15 (Irvine Ave.)
Run,
walk and/or
mountain bike the beautiful continental divide at Buena Vista Ski Area,
the site of the Minnesota Finlandia Ski Marathon.
Enjoy the spectacular view of eight lakes, two rivers, and vast
forests from the top of Buena Vista's ski hills.
The terrain is challenging enough for the competitive athlete yet
enjoyable for the recreational outdoors person. Additional single track
has been added for the bike portion of the event.
The walk/run, and bike events can be done in combo for an
overall classification, or individually. All
participants receive a T-shirt (first come) and a chance to win great door
prizes.
Bring your family and friends, and plan to spend a fun filled day
with us!

Schedule
of events:
- Registration begins at
8:00 a.m. in Buena Vista Ski Chalet
- The 5K walk/run
and 10k run starts at 9:00 a.m. Awards will follow at approximately 10:30 a.m.
- The Kids Fun
Run and Bike Tour starts at 11:00 p.m.
- The 10K and 20K
mountain bike race starts at 12:00 p.m. Awards will follow at approximately
1:30 p.m.
